Make a Tropical Smoothie Bowl

Description

This smoothie bowl is great for those warm mornings where you feel like something light and refreshing. It is perfectly balanced with the combination of frozen fruits, so it’s not too sweet and the smooth and creamy base easily holds all of your delicious toppings. Just perfect as a replenisher after yoga, gym or a long walk/run on the beach!

You can make this smoothie with the SV400 Vacuum Blender.

Ingredients - Makes 2 Cup

  • 1 ½ cup frozen mango

  • ½ cup frozen pineapple

  • ½ cup banana

  • 1 cup coconut water

Tip: You can use ground turmeric and ginger, but fresh is best!

Tip: Adjust the pepper to suit your desired tastes.

Method

  1. Make all of your toppings first, this way you can just pop them on the top of your smoothie base. Remember to add your granola to your serving bowl before putting the smoothie base onto it.

  2. Add all of your ingredients to the jug of the Kuvings SV400 Vacuum Blender, place the lid on without the center piece – and tamper the ingredients until blended smooth.

Things to note:

This is a fairly standard smoothie bowl mix. You can substitute any of the frozen fruits for other frozen fruits as long as the quantity is roughly 2-2 ½ cups of frozen fruits to 1 cup of coconut water. Toppings can be whatever you have on hand, be creative and make it look pretty – banana, mango, kiwi, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, passionfruit, coconut, flaked almonds, walnuts, edible flowers…

Enjoy!
