So Delicious! The third smoothie in our Rainbow Series is ‘Youthful Yellow’. It is great for when you need some sunshine and brightness in your life or maybe a great way to add some ‘childlike wonder’ to your day. It is sweet and creamy and one you will probably make over and over again.

Ingredients

Jug with ingredients
  • 1 cup Organic Coconut Water

  • 1 cup Pineapple frozen (or fresh)

  • 1 Mango fresh (or 2 frozen cheeks)

  • 1 Banana frozen (or fresh)

  • 1 inch (5cm) piece Ginger squeezed (or grated)

  • 2 scoops (1/4 cup) coconut icecream

Tip: You can swap out the frozen ingredients to fresh and visa versa – as long as you have 1-2 frozen fruits

Tip: If you like it spicy, double the ginger!

Pineapple – golden treasure

It will fill you with resilience – that’s pineapple’s gift to you. Did you know it takes almost a year for a pineapple to grow? In that time, it grows through every season; Winter, Autumn, Summer & Spring – so, when it comes to resilience, pineapple knows a thing or two! It has that tough, prickly armour that protects the fruit all-year round, so when you eat the flesh, you benefit from the resilience it has stored within. Any wonder pineapple is naturally good for helping us cleanse and remove toxins from our body.

Mango – just delicious

Not only do they taste great, they are super great for you. Mangos help alkalize the body by flushing out toxins and feeding the good bacteria in your gut. Combined with Pineapple in this smoothie, it serves up a delicious ray of sunlight to lighten you up from the inside out.

Banana – healing staple

Nutritional and healing. Banana’s offer us up so much. They are just a great fruit to have on hand, frozen or fresh at any time of the year. They fill a hungry tummy and help with digestive issues. They are great to use when you are feeling a bit foggy or if you just need to feel a sense of calm. They give you energy and help to regulate a sleep-cycle. An easy fruit to eat daily, but why stop at one!!!

Method

Step 1: Gather your ingredients and place them into the blender as follows:

  • Pour in your Coconut Water

  • Add your Pineapple

  • Add your Mango

  • Add your Banana

  • Add your Icecream

  • Add Ginger

Step 2: Blend all together in your Kuvings Vacuum Blender

  • Place the lid on the jug and the noise-reduction cover on

  • Touch ‘power on’ button

  • Select vacuum blend option

  • Let the Blender do its thing.
