Health benefits

Coriander seeds maintain insulin activity and reduce glucose levels in the blood. This reduces the chances of a sudden drop in blood sugar levels for diabetics.

One of the other benefits of coriander seeds is their ability to cool down inflammation. This means they can ease gas, bloating, and other symptoms of an irritated digestive system. If you have thyroid problems like hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, consider adding coriander seeds to your diet too.

Black peppercorns grow on a vine that can take 3 - 4 years to flower into berries known as peppercorns. Black pepper improves digestion by stimulating the taste buds in such a way that an alert is sent to the stomach to increase hydrochloric acid secretion.

When the body’s production of hydrochloric acid is insufficient, food may sit in the stomach for a long period of time. This may lead to heartburn or indigestion.

Chili peppers, provide humans with protection against colds, flu, bronchitis, and any viral conditions due to their high vitamin C content.

Tip: Because of coriander’s anti-inflammatory power, you can use it to relieve arthritis. Make your own ointment by mixing ½ teaspoon coriander seed powder with 1 tsp coconut oil and apply topically.
