Make a Juice Lorraine Spring Juice

This beautiful blend was created by Lorraine, Gary’s mum, who’s now in her 70s and still uses her juicer regularly to fuel her day — keeping her feeling healthy, vibrant, and full of energy.

A true reminder that taking care of your health never goes out of style. 💚

Packed with naturally sweet fruits — banana for creaminess, strawberries for a burst of vitamin C, pears for gentle fibre, watermelon for hydration, and pineapple for tropical zing — this juice tastes delicious and is as refreshing as it is nourishing. Thanks Mum!

Ingredients

  • 1 banana

  • 1 strawberry punnet

  • 2 pears

  • 1/8 watermelon

  • 1/4 pineapple

Juicing Time: 4 mins
Juice Qty: 1200 ml

Preparation

Banana

  • Just peel the skin

Pears

  • Remove the hard wooden stems

  • Juice whole or cut in half if too big to fit into the wide chute

Strawberry

  • Grab and pull off the green leaves

  • Juice whole

Watermelon

  • Thinly slice the outer green skin leaving most of the white flesh intact

  • Cut the melon in slices about two finger width

  • Cut the slices into chunks

Pineapple

  • Thinly slice the outer skin leaving most of the yellow flesh intact

  • Cut the flesh into strips about two finger width

  • Cut the core from the middle strips and dice in small cubes

Method

Start this juice with the whole banana. You don’t get a lot of juice out of a banana but they press really well and provide a good sweet flavour to the juice.

Next add the strawberries and let the machine blend them with the banana.

Next juice the pears followed by the watermelon pieces. Their is a lot of juice in watermelon which will wash the first ingredients through the cold press juicer.

Finish the recipe with the pineapple slices.

Tip: Banana, strawberry, pear and watermelon are very soft fruits, so you need to go really slow feeding each ingredient, letting the juicer press and squeeze the juice out before adding more.
