Ingredients

1/2 Purple Cabbage

1 Beetroot

1 Pineapple

1 Lime

Qty: 1000 ml

Preparation

Purple Cabbage

Prepared pineapple, red cabbage, beetroot & lime ready for pressing
  • Cut into half

  • Cut into slices about 5cm wide

  • Chop into pieces small enough to fit down the chute

Beetroot

  • Cut in half and then into quarters

  • Slice each half into thin slices to make it easier to press

  • Juice with skin on (you can also juice the leaves and stems if you have them)

Pineapple

  • Slice off the outer skin

  • Cut into long thin strips to fit down the chute

  • Chop the core into small chunks

Lime

  • Thinly slice off the outer skin

  • Juice whole

Method

  1. Juice the cabbage. Add handfuls at a time, let the juicer press everything through before adding more.

  2. Juice the beetroot, press a piece at a time.

  3. Juice the pineapple strips one piece at a time making sure you don’t feed the juicer to fast.

  4. Add the whole lime, then add the pineapple core pieces.

Tip: Cabbage is very noisy when being pressed.
