Make Chimichurri
Bright, herby, and full of zesty flavour, chimichurri is a powerhouse condiment that elevates any dish—from roasted vegetables to grain bowls and grilled tofu.
Traditionally hand-chopped, we’re making it even easier (and just as delicious) by pulsing it in the Kuvings Nutri Blender.
This method gives you total control over texture while blending the herbs and garlic into a vibrant green sauce. Ready in minutes, it’s your new go-to for bold, plant-based flavour.
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh parsley
1 cup fresh coriander
2 garlic cloves, peeled
1 small red chilli (or 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
(Optional) 1 tsp dried oregano or 1 tbsp fresh
(Optional) 1 small shallot, peeled and chopped
Method:
Prepare the ingredients: Roughly chop the parsley and coriander. Peel the garlic and shallot (if using). Cut the chilli into a few pieces.
Add to blender: Place all ingredients except the olive oil into your Kuvings Nutri Blender.
Pulse to combine: Use short pulses until the herbs and aromatics are finely chopped—but not puréed. Scrape down the sides if needed.
Add olive oil: Pour in the olive oil and pulse a few more times until the chimichurri reaches your desired consistency. Some texture is ideal!
Taste and adjust: Add more salt, lemon, or chilli if needed. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes to develop flavour.
Serve or store: Use immediately, or store in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 5 days. Bring to room temp before serving.
